Use any kind of noodles you would like – I have opted for udon because they are vegan friendly and nice and thick.

How to Make Garlic Oil Noodles
Step One: Cook the noodles according to the package instructions.
Step Two: While the noodles are cooking, add the green onion, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, Kashmiri chili powder, soy sauce, and granulated sugar to a medium-sized, heatproof mixing bowl.
Step Three: In a small frypan, heat the sesame oil and plant-based butter over medium heat until sizzling and very hot.
Step Four: Carefully pour the hot oil and butter over the ingredients in the mixing bowl. It will sizzle and froth up. Once it stops sizzling, stir to mix everything well.
Step Five: When the noodles are done, drain them and add them to the sauce in the mixing bowl. Toss to coat the noodles evenly.
Step Six: Garnish with cilantro leaves and sesame seeds, then serve.
